He was also a Colonel in the US Army MC. He was an associate attending at the Westchester Medical Center, and consulting pathologist at the Burke Foundation and Roche Medical Labs. He has been the director of several community hospital and city hospital labs.
Since he retired he is involved with NGOs and their activities. He resides both in Ferney Voltaire in France and Greenwich Connecticut in the United States.
