MISSION STATEMENT The purpose of the NGO Health Committee is to promote worldwide cooperation on issues of health in keeping with the UN principles and concerns by: Providing a forum for the exchange of information on global health concerns, policies, services and research. Facilitating network building with all sectors at all levels regarding health. Collaborating with UN departments, bodies, organizations and agencies in order to promote improved health and well being of all people. Convening meetings for the purpose of education and the exchange of views on issues concerned with health. |

The NGO Health Committee's work and activities are very much in the direction and support of the UN Millenium Development Goals.
